Jaguar F-PACE PHEV

The Jaguar F-Pace had somewhat disappeared from the radar. With its new battery, it is trying to reposition itself in the premium hybrid SUV market.

Jaguar has just improved the performance of the F-Pace P400e, its plug-in hybrid version of its SUV. The modifications concern the battery, whose capacity increases from 17.1 to 19.2 kWh. Logically, range also improves: now reaching 65 km (WLTP mixed cycle), a 20% gain compared to previous models. Fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions have been estimated at 1.6 l / 100 km and 37-38 g / km, respectively, with the WLTP homologation cycle.

The hybrid powertrain of the F-Pace combines a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with a 143 hp electric motor. The entire system delivers a combined power of 404 hp and 640 Nm of torque. In terms of performance, Jaguar announces a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 5.3 seconds and a top speed of 240 km/h.

Small Cosmetic Updates for the F-Pace

Jaguar has revised the F-Pace lineup, which now features the R-Dynamic S, R-Dynamic SE Black, and R-Dynamic HSE Black finishes. Some details of the trim have changed, but only a keen eye will notice the differences. The Black Pack is now available across the entire range. With this package, the mirror caps, grille, rear skid plate, and other elements get a glossy black finish. Regarding equipment, the digital TFT instrumentation is now standard, as is the wireless charger. The F-Pace also features Amazon Alexa voice assistant and a wireless Mirror Screen function.

This new model year of the Jaguar F-Pace P400e is already available to order. Prices start at €84,700. Although it is a plug-in hybrid, the vehicle is not eligible for any eco bonus because it exceeds the €50,000 cap.
