Only 10 copies of this McLaren to celebrate 1000 F1 starts!

To celebrate the 1,000th Grand Prix in its history in Formula 1, McLaren unveils the Artura 1000GP by MSO.

On this historic milestone, McLaren presents the Artura 1000GP by MSO, an ultra-exclusive edition celebrating the 1,000th start of the British team in the Formula 1 World Championship. This milestone will be reached at the Monaco Grand Prix 2026, one of the most prestigious races on the calendar.

Limited to only 10 units worldwide, this special Artura has been developed by McLaren Special Operations (MSO). Its design is directly inspired by the anniversary livery of the McLaren MCL40 driven by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri in Monaco.

The plug-in hybrid supercar features exclusive “1000GP” branding applied to the hood, side skirts, and mirror caps. Contrasting trim on the front splitter and rear diffuser recalls the historic colors of McLaren in competition. Inside, an anodized commemorative plaque in metallic papaya color highlights the uniqueness of this limited series.

“The McLaren Artura 1000GP by MSO celebrates the values that unite our competition and road car activities since Bruce McLaren,” emphasizes Nick Collins, CEO of McLaren Group Holdings.

Founded in 1963 by Bruce McLaren, the British team has become one of the most successful in F1 history. By reaching the milestone of 1,000 Grands Prix contested, it becomes only the second team to achieve this feat. Its record includes 10 Constructors’ Championships, over 200 Grand Prix wins, and seven successes at the Japanese Grand Prix.
