Canyon pushes the technology even further with its Lux World Cup cross-country mountain bike. The new CFR Ltd version adopts the electronic SRAM Flight Attendant system, capable of automatically adjusting the suspension in real time.
A mountain bike that almost thinks for its rider? That’s the promise of the new Canyon Lux World Cup CFR Ltd, a limited series directly inspired by the machines competing in the XCO and XCC World Cups.
Its major innovation is called SRAM Flight Attendant. Paired with the wireless AXS transmission, a pedal sensor, a power sensor, and RockShox suspensions, this system continuously analyzes the bike’s data. It automatically chooses between three settings: Open, to fully enjoy the travel, Pedal, to improve efficiency, and Lock, to transfer maximum power.
Less hassle, more performance!
The goal is simple: to allow the rider to focus on their trajectory while the bike adjusts its suspensions to the terrain and effort.
The Canyon Lux World Cup remains true to its competitive mountain bike vocation with 120 mm of travel at the front and 110 mm at the rear. This CFR Ltd version also features a SRAM XO AXS Eagle transmission with a power sensor, an electronic RockShox Reverb AXS dropper post, four-piston SRAM Motive brakes, and DT Swiss XRC1200 wheels.
The limited series is also distinguished by its deep red “Carina” paint, already used in the World Cup by Luca Schwarzbauer and Thibaut Francois-Baudry.
Available from S to XL, the new Canyon Lux World Cup CFR Ltd is priced at 6,999 euros. A significant price, but for one of the most technologically sophisticated XC mountain bikes at the moment.
