Tesla Model S/X: A New Affordable Lunar Grey Paint Appears

Grey is currently trending at Tesla with the introduction, on the Model S and Model X, of a new very beautiful Lunar Grey color.

Tesla and Elon Musk are drawn to the cosmos, space, and lunar exploration. So, when choosing the name for its new paint, the manufacturer looked up to our satellite and borrowed its name: Lunar Grey.

The regolith, this layer of dust on the Moon’s surface, has the same very light gray hue that gives it its reflections when we observe it from 384,000 kilometers away.

And another good news: the price of this Lunar Grey option, including in France, is far from being exorbitant. Its price is set at 2,600 euros for both the Model S and X and is immediately available for order.

The same price as two other colors, Ultra Red and Stealth Gray. The Uni Black and Outermere Blue are a bit cheaper, at 1,600 euros. The Nacré White remains the standard color for the Model X and the Model S, electric vehicles offered at respectively 99,990 euros and 92,990 euros.
