Lynk & Co Unveils Its Compact Hybrid SUV 06

The Chinese manufacturer Lynk & Co introduces its second hybrid-rechargeable SUV in a smaller size than the large 01.

Lower entry. That’s very clever at a time when society is striving for greater sobriety and affordability. Have the very large, status-driven cars gone out of style? In any case, the Chinese outsider Lynk & Co (owned by the Geely giant along with Volvo, Smart, or Zeekr) which has already established itself in Europe, is ramping up with an even more relevant SUV.

Named 06, it remains a PHEV (plug-in hybrid) equipped with a 1.5-liter atmospheric engine producing 120 horsepower, along with two electric motors. The combined power reaches 300 horsepower and 568 Nm of torque! The 19 kWh battery is designed to ensure exactly 100 km of range, claiming a zero-liter consumption over the same distance in Europe.

The design significantly evolves compared to the larger 01 model, with lines inspired in places by its cousin Zeekr X. Inside, modernity is also present, with a look that is very current.

In China, with a VAT of 13%, its starting price will be 180,000 yuan, approximately 23,000 euros. Scheduled to be released in Q4 2023, its European arrival is likely expected in 2024.
