IVECO BUS

IVECO BUS signs a major contract with Île-de-France Mobilités and opens up promising prospects.

This contract covers the potential supply of 4,000 electric or biogas IVECO buses and coaches by 2032, supporting IDFM’s goal of a 100% clean fleet by 2030.

This volume represents a significant opportunity for IVECO BUS. As the European leader in alternative energies with 20% market share in 2025, the manufacturer sees its solutions validated on a large scale. The vehicles involved – GX 337 ELEC (12 m electric), URBANWAY GNV (12 and 18 m biogas) and CROSSWAY GNV (12 m intercity biogas) – will be partly produced in the French factories of Annonay and Rorthais, contributing to the stability of local industrial activity.

The first deliveries, scheduled from 2026, include 154 GX 337 ELEC and 415 URBANWAY GNV. These units will be added to the vehicles already in operation on the Île-de-France network, strengthening IVECO BUS’s position as the main supplier for IDFM.

Solène Grange, General Manager of Iveco France, states: “These agreements confirm the suitability of our electric and biogas solutions with the operational and environmental needs of the region.”

The contract is part of the renewal of 10,500 buses launched by IDFM since 2016, the largest in the world. Equipped with ADAS systems, the new vehicles will improve safety and reduce noise and atmospheric pollution.
