Since September 1st, companies can rent Dance bikes or scooters for their employees.

Arriving in France in April 2022, the operator Dance initially focused its activity on the consumer channel. With its new program “Dance for Business”, it now aims to attract companies.

“The Dance for Business concept was designed for maximum flexibility and administrative simplicity for employers”, explains the company. “It is aimed at businesses of all sizes, concerned about their environmental impact and the well-being of their employees.”

The fleet of vehicles offered for rent mirrors the options available for individuals, with an electric assist bicycle and an electric scooter. The bicycle’s range is estimated at 55 km, and the scooter’s at around 70 km.

The electric scooter is a Niu NQi Sport, a model with a removable battery. Classified in the 50 cc equivalent category, it is limited to 45 km/h and available without a license. Like all electric scooters, it can still park for free in the streets of Paris.

A Dance service only deployed in Paris

Available only in Paris and part of its nearby suburbs, the new service is without commitment. It works somewhat like a mobile phone plan, with payments to be made each month.

Dance for Business rates:

Electric bicycle
(Dance One Step – Dance One)
€69 / month
Electric scooter
(Dance Scoot)
€169 / month

The subscription has no registration fee. It includes maintenance and any repairs, which will be carried out at a location chosen by the user. Dance also provides locks and an additional charger for the company, so employees can easily recharge at their workplace.

This new offer will be presented during the Bike to Work event, taking place on September 20 and 21 in the La Défense district.
