Honda Fastport eQuad: the intelligent zero-emission urban delivery

Honda has unveiled a new step in its vision for sustainable urban mobility: the Fastport eQuad.

This electric micromobility vehicle designed by Honda aims to optimize last-mile deliveries and has won the prestigious Red Dot: Best of the Best 2025 award in the Design Concept category. This award highlights both the technical boldness and environmental relevance of the project.

The Fastport eQuad is positioned as a concrete response to the challenges of logistics in urban areas, where congestion and pollution necessitate rethinking transportation methods. This one-seat vehicle combines pedal assistance with electric propulsion, thanks to a “pedal-by-wire” system that electronically converts the cyclist’s effort into driving power. The result: a smooth, silent, and emission-free ride, ideal for cycling on bike lanes*2 and navigating through dense areas.

The Last-Mile Delivery Seen by Honda

Honda focuses here on an integrated vision of mobility, where logistics performance and environmental respect go hand in hand. The eQuad allows for a reduction in the carbon footprint of deliveries while improving the speed and reliability of short trips. Its planned mass production in the summer of 2026 at an American factory confirms Honda’s ambition to quickly transition from idea to implementation.

In terms of design, the Fastport eQuad perfectly illustrates the balance between aesthetics and functionality. Inspired by the lines of a bicycle, it uses transparent materials to provide the driver with excellent visibility while making its presence more noticeable to other users. Its clear windshield and translucent trunk visually lighten the vehicle, contributing to its harmonious integration into the urban landscape.
