The time for a facelift has arrived for the MG EHS

The plug-in hybrid MG EHS SUV undergoes a facelift, significantly revising its front end as well as its equipment.
Launched just two years ago on the European market, the Chinese MG EHS SUV is having difficulty establishing itself. The significant competition first of all, but also a diminished public interest in plug-in hybrid powertrains that do not fully meet expectations regarding consumption. And for good reason, few customers regularly charge their car. The MG EHS is also particularly fuel-consuming when its battery is empty. Its real advantage remains its consistently attractive price, set at €35,490.
To give it a second chance on the Old Continent, MG Motors is planning to restyle it, with a significantly revamped front: redesigned bumper, new LED technology headlights, reworked exhaust outlets, and specific alloy wheels.
An upgraded position in the market

Inside, the redesigned MG EHS will finally feature a state-of-the-art multimedia system, hopefully with a faster interface. Materials are also expected to improve in quality, allowing it to better compete with segment leaders such as the Peugeot 3008.

In terms of equipment, standard features include: air conditioning, connected GPS, rearview camera, keyless access and ignition, digital instrumentation of 12.3″, a 10.1″ digital screen, full LED headlights, and traditional driver aids (pedestrian detection, blind spot detection, active emergency braking…).
