A month ago, the new MG EHS was presented by the brand. Today, it is finally available for order through the MG Motor France network.
Since January 2021 and its arrival on French soil, the brand has sold 6,500 units of the SUV model. The new model has been available at MG dealerships in France since Monday. Its starting price is 35,490 euros.
A taller and longer vehicle
The plug-in hybrid vehicle will be taller and longer than the previous model from the brand. It measures 4.61 meters long (3.6 cm longer), and 1.69 meters in height (2.1 cm taller). The engine of the MG EHS will be the same as in 2021, which means a 1.5-liter petrol engine (119 kW/162 hp and 250 Nm), combined with a 90 kW electric motor for 122 hp. MG announces that the vehicle has an autonomy of only 52 km with the electric motor alone, and can be recharged in 4.5 hours on a public charging point with its onboard charger.
The new MG EHS has a combined power of 190 kW/258 hp, and a maximum torque of 370 Nm. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 7 seconds, specifically 6.9 seconds.
Two different models
Two different models are available for this new MG EHS. The first is the Confort, starting at 35,490 euros. The second model, called “Luxury,” has a starting price of 37,790 euros. It includes additional options compared to the entry-level version, such as a panoramic sunroof or a 360° camera. A 48-month long-term lease with a 40,000 km limit is available, with an initial payment of 3,000 euros, followed by 47 monthly payments of 389 euros.
