A new CUPRA Formentor already on sale at a discount!

CUPRA explores more of its visual identity based on contrasts with the Formentor Midnight Edition.

Four years after its launch, the CUPRA Formentor continues to reinvent itself. Its spectacular redesign, unveiled last year, has given it a new lease on life. This iconic SUV now sports a bold design characterized by a dynamic front end, nicknamed the “shark nose.” It is distinguished by its three-triangle headlights and an imposing grille, signature elements of CUPRA’s latest stylistic language, debuted on the Tavascan coupe SUV. This new design led designers to move the CUPRA logo, now positioned on the hood.

The prevalent triangular shapes extend to the rear with LED taillights and a LED light bar running across the width of the vehicle, featuring an illuminated CUPRA logo. The redesigned bumper enhances the sporty and muscular look of the Formentor, complemented by an integrated diffuser.

Inside, the Formentor offers a central 12.9-inch touchscreen equipped with a redesigned infotainment system. CUPRA promises a more intuitive interface, especially for climate control commands. The temperature and volume sliders are now backlit, while customizable widgets enrich the user experience.

In the CUPRA spirit

For 2025, CUPRA introduces a special Midnight Edition series, based on the Formentor V eHybrid 204 DSG model. This plug-in hybrid motorization, originally from Volkswagen, is certainly one of the most interesting in the lineup with its 124 km of all-electric range. This high-end version is available starting at €55,000, but surprisingly, it already benefits from €7,000 in discounts to be priced at €48,000! An oddly strange move, but after all, why not…

It includes generous equipment, such as 19-inch Arctic copper wheels, Luna Grey leather racing seats (heated and electric), SENNHEISE audio system with 11 speakers and a subwoofer, as well as a Mode 3 charging cable. A three-year (or 100,000 km) warranty extension is also included.

Despite its name, the Midnight Edition isn’t limited to black. Six colors are available, including Fjord Blue, Magnetic Grey, and Midnight Black. Priced €2,555 higher than the already well-equipped base version, it may not be a bargain of the century, but it is likely to find its clientele.
