204 Horsepower for the SEAT Leon Hybrid Ibère

The SEAT Leon expands its lineup with the introduction of a plug-in hybrid eHybrid engine of 204 horsepower.

Now available in Business and COPA trims, this new hybrid Leon combines energy efficiency and performance, while meeting the needs of drivers seeking versatility.

With a net 20 kWh battery (25.8 kWh gross), the Leon eHybrid can travel up to 178 kilometers in all-electric mode in urban areas and 133 kilometers in mixed cycle, according to WLTP standards. By adding the thermal engine, the total range reaches 910 kilometers, offering great flexibility for daily commutes as well as longer trips. With an average consumption of 0.4 liters per 100 kilometers, this powertrain stands out for its fuel economy.

The battery charging process is fast and convenient. With DC fast charging, the car accepts up to 50 kW, allowing it to go from 10% to 80% charge in just 26 minutes. With AC charging, it offers 11 kW of power, ideal for a full recharge at home or on a public station.

The available trims cater to different needs. The Business trim, starting at €39,890, includes features such as LED headlights, a 10.4-inch central screen compatible with Apple CarPlay wirelessly and Android Auto wired, as well as front and rear parking assistance. The COPA trim, from €43,200, adds premium features such as Matrix LED headlights, a larger 12.9-inch central display with built-in navigation, a 10.25-inch digital cockpit, and a rearview camera.

With this new powertrain, the SEAT Leon strengthens its position in the plug-in hybrid compact segment, a growing market with cautious customers seeking to combine the best of electric and thermal modes.
