Tesla gives away Performance track test drives

Tesla is offering an exclusive on-track experience to discover its Performance models in safe, controlled conditions.

Tesla is launching an original contest that promises to turn a simple test drive into a driving experience. Until December 20, 2025, anyone who takes a test drive of a Tesla model – whether at a dealership or via self-service – will automatically be able to participate in the “Co-Drive Performance Experience”, an unprecedented event organized by Tesla France.

The process is simple: just book and carry out a test drive of any Tesla vehicle during the contest period, then fill out a form on the dedicated website. No purchase is necessary, but only adults residing in metropolitan France who have held a valid driving licence for at least three years can participate.

A draw will select four winners, each invited to enjoy an exclusive day on the track aboard a Tesla Performance model, alongside a professional driver. The experience will include on-track co-drive sessions, Tesla transport for the weekend, accommodation and meals. A package valued at around €3,000 per winner, fully covered by the manufacturer.

This initiative deserves praise because it reminds us that a high-performance vehicle can only be fully appreciated in a secure, appropriate setting. Once you tire of blasting off at toll booths, what is there really left to exploit on open roads with a Model 3 or Model Y Performance? The track appears here as the ideal playground to measure, without risk, the incredible potential of these electric cars. It’s also a smart way to raise drivers’ awareness about safety and managing power.
