MG EHS: The Facelift of the Chinese PHEV!
This page is translated from the original post "MG EHS : le restylage du PHEV Chinois !" in French.

The Sino-British brand MG is launching a new version of its EHS starting July 2023 with a restyled front end.
MG offers a new version of its EHS from July 2023. The plug-in hybrid SUV (PHEV) features a new exterior design, with a more aggressive front end and new LED lights.
This plug-in hybrid (PHEV) is quite popular in France, with 1,380 vehicles sold in the first five months of 2023. Currently available in Comfort and Luxury versions, the 2021 model is priced from €35,490. With its facelift, MG aims to offer a more comfortable and sportier vehicle to its customers.
What changes compared to the current MG EHS?
The new MG EHS is longer (4.61 m) and higher (1.69 m) but retains its width and wheelbase, measuring 1.66 m and 2.72 m respectively. The engine remains unchanged: a proven 1.5 L turbo petrol engine (119 kW / 162 hp and 250 Nm) combined with an electric motor (90 kW / 122 hp). MG announces a 52 km range in 100% electric mode.
On the front, the MG EHS will change to feature a new grille and turn signals integrated into the bumper. At the rear, the new MG EHS will also sport a new lighting system. New rims and two new colors (Brighton Blue and Iron Oxide Grey) will complete this facelift.

As announced in April, the restyled MG EHS will come with the following standard interior features:
- Air conditioning;
- Connected GPS;
- Reversing camera;
- Keyless entry and start;
- Digital instrumentation 12.3″;
- Digital screen 10.1″;
- Full LED headlights;
- Driving aids (pedestrian detection, blind spot detection, active emergency braking…).
No price has been announced yet, but pre-orders for the new MG EHS will open on July 3, 2023.
