Nissan Ariya for €350 per month

Starting with the entry-level Engage trim, the Nissan Ariya joins the club of 100% electric vehicles available for long-term rental under 400 euros per month… Really?

Nissan has had the good idea to offer its new entry-level Ariya called Engage through a Long-Term Rental plan, at 350 euros per month over 37 months and 30,000 kilometers. However, you will need to pay a 5,000 euro deposit, with the ecological bonus deducted before taking the wheel. Spread over 37 months, this deposit still amounts to 135 euros to be added to the 350 euros of the offer, and honestly, that can’t really work. This deposit will likely be a barrier for many consumers, and the total mileage offers only 810 km per month, which is barely 27 km per day! That’s frankly a bit sparse for a road vehicle that announces a 404 km range thanks to its 63 kWh battery.

An Expensive but Well-Equipped Ariya

So, what argument could convince you to step into a Nissan dealership? Perhaps its equipment, which far from being sparse, includes more than the essentials:

• rearview camera
• 19″ alloy wheels
• LED lights
• wireless smartphone charger
• digital instrumentation with dual 12.3-inch screens
• heat pump heating…

The Nissan Ariya is built on the CMF-EV platform developed by the Alliance, optimized to deliver top-level performance. Thanks to its 100% electric motorization, the Ariya offers a satisfactory torque of 300 Nm and a more than decent acceleration with 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.

Come on Nissan, make a bigger effort on the deposit and the mileage allowance, and we will be close to something really good. The competitors have already gained the lead.
