Polestar has understood how to assist its customers

Polestar and Plugsurfing launch a new public charging service in Europe called simply Polestar Charge.

With over 650,000 charging points listed, Polestar Charge allows brand customers to access a European charging network that matches the manufacturer’s ambitions, including Tesla Supercharger, IONITY, TotalEnergies, Fastned, and Allego networks. An optional monthly subscription offers a 30% discount on more than 28,000 charging points.

Polestar is the first manufacturer in Europe to integrate the Tesla Supercharger network into its own charging app. In addition, Polestar announced in 2023 the adoption of Tesla’s NACS charging standard in North America. Simultaneously, in China, Polestar owners can now access the Tesla Supercharger network in over 200 cities.

Polestar prepares for the arrival of its new models

This new Polestar Charge service precedes the first deliveries to European customers of models 3 and 4, two high-performance luxury electric SUVs.

Now more than ever, electric vehicle users are seeking a more convenient solution to find charging stations, access them, and pay for their charges. The current movement aims to reduce the number of subscriptions, apps, or authentication methods. This is combined with the optimization of navigation apps such as Google Maps, which, paired with manufacturers’ apps, now allows drivers to plan optimal charging stops along a route and activate battery preconditioning to help achieve the fastest possible charging speeds.
