The MG MG3 available for pre-order for less than 20,000 euros

The MG3, an ambitious rival to the Renault Clio and Toyota Yaris hybrids, is preparing for its market arrival in June 2024.

Three trims will be available at the launch of the MG3, all sharing the same “Hybrid+” engine with 195 horsepower. It allows the small MG3 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8 seconds and provides outstanding responsiveness with the 80 to 120 km/h achieved in 5 seconds. Delivering 195 hp (143 kW) combined, the MG3’s powertrain has a WLTP mixed consumption of 4.4L/100 km. These performances are achieved thanks to a large 1.83 kWh battery, offering true ranges of 100% electric driving.

Navigation is standard across the range, as is Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity and the connected app for smartphones, MG iSMART. From the first trim level, the MG3 comes with 8 driving aids, including emergency lane-keeping with lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, front collision warning, and intelligent driving assistance. Other features included from the Standard trim are automatic air conditioning, 4 USB ports, a rearview camera with rear parking sensors, as well as a 7-inch digital display and a 10.25-inch touchscreen. The Comfort trim adds 16-inch alloy wheels, heated mirrors, a rear wiper, a rear ventilation outlet, and a 6-speaker audio system.

The Luxury trim complements the Comfort trim with 100% LED headlights, a 360° camera, artificial leather heated seats, a heated microfibre leather steering wheel, a rain sensor, hands-free access, and tinted side and rear windows. Richly equipped, this Luxury trim will still be available for under 24,000 euros.

The deposit of 500 euros is deducted from the down payment when the final order for the car is placed. Like all the latest MG Motor productions, the MG3 comes with a 7-year or 150,000 km warranty. 1,000 units are planned for France during this launch operation. In addition to a “welcome pack” celebrating 100 years of MG, customers who pre-order their MG3 Hybrid+ will receive 2 years of maintenance (oil change and filters).
