Suzuki unveils two neo-retro models based on modern technology, bridging historic homage and current riding pleasure.

Suzuki expands its range with two new motorcycles featuring bold designs and contemporary technologies: the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT. Derived from the 800 cm³ twin-cylinder platform, they embody the neo-retro trend while claiming true mechanical and electronic modernity.

The design of both models echoes the brand’s sporting heritage. The GSX-8T pays homage to the T500 “Titan,” launched in 1968, while the GSX-8TT draws inspiration from the GS1000S, a legend on American circuits in the late 1970s. Notable elements include the fully LED round headlight, handlebar-end mirrors, and the “tuck’n’roll” seat on the 8T, all details that emphasize their vintage personality.

However, behind this polished style lies a motorcycle well-grounded in its time. The 776 cm³ parallel twin engine, set at 270°, promises vigorous acceleration and distinctive sound. The chassis has been designed to provide both comfort and precision, whether for leisurely rides or more dynamic handling.

KTM Unveils an Extreme Model

On the electronic front, both GSX models benefit from the S.I.R.S (Suzuki Intelligent Ride System), which includes adjustable traction control, three engine modes, a ride-by-wire electronic throttle, and a bidirectional quickshifter. A suite of riding aids that enhances safety without compromising the riding experience.

To support long trips, Suzuki has equipped the models with a 16.5-litre fuel tank and a fast-charging USB-C port. Another first for the brand: the adoption of a lightweight and high-performance lithium-ion battery from the HY battEliiy P-Series.

The GSX-8T and GSX-8TT will arrive at dealerships after the summer. They will be offered at prices of €10,899 including VAT and €11,599 including VAT, representing an attractive compromise between classic style and modern technology.
