LiveWire S4 Honcho: The Mini Electric with a Harley Spirit

LiveWire, the electric brand related to Harley-Davidson, is shifting gears. After premium models, here comes the S4 Honcho, a small electric motorcycle designed to attract a younger, urban audience. Unveiled at EICMA 2025, this 125cc equivalent promises a mix of fun, design, and technology. With its compact and sleek look, it embodies a new approach: making electric mobility desirable, simple, and enjoyable.

Two versions will be released: S4 Honcho Street and S4 Honcho Trail. The first, road-legal, will be accessible with a simple A1 license in France. Light, agile, and intuitive, it is ideal for daily commuting and urban outings. The Trail version, on the other hand, will require no license and promises a fun, hassle-free off-road experience.

Sober but Tech-Savvy

Beneath its compact silhouette, the S4 Honcho hides a centrally mounted chain-driven motor and, above all, two removable batteries located under the seat. A clever idea: simply remove them to recharge at home or swap one out on the fly. These modules are similar to those in KYMCO’s Ionex system, LiveWire’s industrial partner, proof of a pragmatic and efficient design.

Still discreet about performance and price, the brand promises a launch in spring 2026. But one thing is clear: with its refined design, accessible format, and modularity, the S4 Honcho could become the ultimate electric fun motorcycle.
