Mercedes unveils Miele in electric utility vehicles
Mercedes supplies Miele France with a new fleet of electric utility vehicles for delivery and technical support.
Mercedes has delivered a series of utility vehicles to Miele France, a specialist in household appliances and industrial equipment. The order consists of 25 Citan vans, including 21 fully electric eCitan vehicles, as well as 4 Sprinter 517 CDI 20 m³ vans. These vehicles are intended for service technicians and logistics teams of the brand in France.
The 21 electric eCitan vans were handed over in December at the Miele France headquarters located in Blanc-Mesnil. They feature a 45 kWh battery and an optional 22 kW fast charging capability. These utility vehicles are mainly designated for urban and suburban missions in Île-de-France, a usage compatible with their range and the traffic constraints in low emission zones.
Diesel is not dead yet
The fleet is complemented by four Citan 112 CDI with an automatic gearbox in PRO trim. This version includes features such as automatic climate control and an adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support. These vehicles are intended for various professional travels, combining technical interventions and local deliveries.
Four 20 m³ Sprinter 517 CDI vans also join the fleet. Ordered in SELECT trim, they include equipment such as LED headlights, a comfort driver’s seat with lumbar support, and the option of a suspended seat. These models are assigned to long-distance deliveries across the entire national territory, where cargo capacity and driving comfort are key criteria.
