Mercedes’ very long-range utility vehicle

The order books are open for the new Mercedes eSprinter with record-breaking range.

The new Mercedes eSprinter will soon be on the roads. It becomes more versatile with two types of bodywork (panel van or chassis), various lengths of body, three battery sizes, and a high payload. Depending on their needs, customers can opt for more range or more payload. The panel van is available for order starting January 16th, with a useful capacity battery of 56 kWh or 113 kWh. An 81 kWh version will follow soon. Additionally, the new eSprinter will also be available for the first time in chassis version at a later date. This makes the new eSprinter an attractive large utility vehicle for many new sectors as well as for bodybuilders and converters. Moreover, it is equipped with numerous digital connectivity features, including the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) multimedia system for the first time, improved safety and assistance systems, as well as an upgraded standard equipment. Furthermore, the eSprinter is now available with an optional trailer hitch.

The new synchronous motor with permanent magnets (PSM) developing 100 or 150 kilowatts (136 or 204 hp) features particularly high efficiency. Additionally, the thermal management has been redesigned. Customers can choose between three battery sizes, with useful capacities of 56 kWh, 81 kWh, or 113 kWh. The electric range, based on a WLTP cycle simulation, will reach up to 440 kilometers. According to Mercedes simulations based on the WLTP City cycle, a range of up to 530 kilometers is possible for urban driving. With these ranges, the vehicle sets new standards in the large-scale utility vehicle segment.

The new eSprinter starts at €58,160 excluding VAT, turnkey, for an eSprinter 314 PRO with a 37.9 m³ load volume.
