The Surprising Kia PV5 Arrives in France

Kia launches its new commercial vehicle in France, the Kia PV5, which promises to revolutionize the compact van segment.

The Kia PV5 stands out for its versatility, energy efficiency, a range of competitive prices tailored for professionals, and most importantly, a look that will make history.

Several configurations are offered, including short and long wheelbase versions, providing great flexibility to meet the diverse needs of businesses. The generous dimensions of the cargo space are a strong point, allowing for the transport of a significant volume while maintaining optimal maneuverability for urban use.

For the powertrain, the PV5 is equipped with a 100% electric front-wheel drive, a first in Kia’s utility vehicle lineup. This technology ensures exemplary energy efficiency and a significant reduction in CO2 emissions, thus meeting current ecological and regulatory expectations. The battery offers a generous range with a maximum of up to 397 km and supports rapid charging in 30 minutes.

In terms of design, the Kia PV5 features a modern and robust look. The cabin has been designed to offer optimal comfort for the driver and passengers, with advanced technological equipment, including a connected infotainment system and driver assistance systems to improve safety and productivity.

The French lineup revolves around two trims, available, by choice, with the 51.5 kWh “M” battery or the 71.2 kWh “L” battery, and stands out from the competition with much richer standard equipment than the market leaders:

▪ Kia PV5 Van ESSENTIAL: Starting at this first level of trim, professional customers will find all driver assistance features, which are mostly only available as optional packs from competitors, such as front/rear radars, adaptive cruise control (SCC), rearview camera, or highway driving assist (HDA).
