Village Hydrogène 24 Heures du Mans

The Hydrogen Village, a privileged exchange space, is establishing itself as an unmissable event of the great week in Le Mans.

At the heart of the great 24 Hours circuit, it highlights the transition to a decarbonized car race, with hydrogen at the core of its ambitions. The goal: the creation of a Hydrogen category for the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the FIA WEC World Endurance Championship by 2028.

While waiting for this historic milestone, the Hydrogen Village will offer a unique experience in 2025, focused on two themes: the world of competition, featuring innovative prototypes, and hydrogen mobility solutions already available. Visitors will be able to discover a 700 bar hydrogen station, implemented by TotalEnergies, which will provide live refueling, and explore concrete applications on land, in the air, on water, and even in space.

Presentations and Demonstrations

The MissionH24 program, the result of collaboration between ACO, H24Project, Alpine, Ligier-Bosch, and Toyota, will unveil spectacular vehicles. Spectators will see that hydrogen is no longer a distant promise: it already allows for cycling, driving, or taking the bus, flying, or sailing. At the same time, playful and educational activities, such as DiscoverHy, a small vehicle designed by the AdvancedH2Valley consortium, or the interactive research from the University of Le Mans, will enrich the experience.

The official inauguration will take place on Wednesday, June 11 at 11:30 AM, in the presence of Pierre Fillon, president of ACO, and the exhibitors. Each day from Wednesday to Sunday, Adrien Tambay will host sessions dedicated to the MissionH24 program and the activities of the Village.

Finally, spectacular demonstrations on the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit are planned: on Thursday, June 12, and Saturday, June 14, the Alpenglow HY6 from Alpine and the Ligier Bosch JS2 RH2 will perform emission-free runs. These prototypes will also be displayed at the Hydrogen Village, alongside many surprises. Decarbonized endurance is undoubtedly stepping into the future.
