The French specialist in electric-assist bicycles, Angell Mobility, and MINI join forces to launch the first MINI E-Bike.
Following the recent launch of the new generation MINI 100% electric, Angell Mobility and MINI introduce the E-Bike 1, the first connected and electric bicycle from the British car brand. Like many of its competitors, including its parent company BMW, MINI has decided to expand its offerings to include short-distance transportation.
French Touch
The MINI E-Bike 1 is the first model in a range of electric bicycles developed by Angell. It will be available in two colors and in a limited edition. Each version is produced in a limited run of 1,959 numbered units, referencing the year of birth of the creator of the famous MINI Cooper. The sleek steed is built around a lightweight, seamless aluminum frame by Angell Mobility, handcrafted in France. The E-Bike 1 sports a “duotone” paint finish blending liquid and powder. The two limited edition versions feature the recently introduced MINI colors: Ocean Wave Green and Vibrant Silver.

Customers can choose between two frame configurations: the M frame, with a top tube, and the S frame, with a low frame. The bikes are equipped with molded-in, injection-molded fenders and a useful chain guard suitable for urban use.
A lightweight MINI two-wheeler
The MINI E-Bike 1 has a total weight (including the battery) of 17 kg for the S frame and 17.5 kg for the M frame, making it one of the lightest electric bikes in its category. The range is announced at 65 km in Eco mode, 50 km in Sec mode, and 35 km in Fast mode. A dedicated mobile app allows users to record trips, adjust riding assistance and preferences, and locate, track, and find the bicycle.

The two limited edition bikes will be available for pre-order starting today at the price of 3,490 euros, including a two-year warranty and “Angell Back” replacement insurance in case of theft.
