Renault Treasures Sold at Auction
A rare opportunity for collectors to become owners of a fragment of Renault’s heritage and history.
Renault and Artcurial Motorcars are partnering to hold an exceptional auction on December 7, 2025, at the heart of the historic Flins-sur-Seine site, near Paris. This sale will be a unique occasion for collectors and enthusiasts to own about a hundred iconic models from the Renault collection, tracing more than 125 years of the brand’s history.
As part of the opening in 2027 of the future Renault museum “Les collections,” the brand has chosen to streamline its automotive archives to preserve 600 emblematic models. The vehicles offered for sale are all duplicates or multiple examples, ensuring that every landmark model in Renault’s history remains represented in the official collection.
An exceptional treasure
Beyond legendary racing cars, the selection will feature rare and iconic pieces, ranging from original models like the still-functional 1901 Type D to a 1933 bus. The collection’s workshops will also display replicas of the 1898 Type A, produced in limited editions for the brand’s centenary in 1998.
Fans of popular models will find iconic classics such as the 4CV, the R5 Police, the “Disney” Floride, and the Clio Williams, offered in restored or original condition, some accompanied by their registration documents, providing a rare opportunity to acquire a genuine piece of automotive history.

Among the series sports cars, the sale will highlight Alpine models, including the A610 Evolution, the Alpine V6 Turbo, as well as scale models of the A110, illustrating the brand’s technical ingenuity and legendary design.
The sale will also include about a hundred exceptional items showcasing Renault’s craftsmanship: design and wind tunnel models, often made in very limited quantities, including R4, R5, Supercinq, and Twingo; unusual pieces such as railcars, boats, or prestigious clocks; as well as iconic creations like the “Reinastella” flying saucer, or scale models of vehicles exported internationally.
For Pierre Novikoff, vice-president of Artcurial Motorcars, this sale represents “a unique opportunity to become the curator of an exceptional heritage and to participate in the enhancement of Renault’s history.”
