Jeep Compass

Jeep presents the latest version of its compact SUV, the Compass, which shares the same technical platform as the Peugeot 3008.

Since its launch in 2006, the Compass has attracted over 2.5 million customers worldwide. This new generation aims to establish itself as a benchmark in the compact SUV segment, which accounts for nearly a quarter of car sales in Europe.

Manufactured in Italy at Stellantis’ Melfi plant, the new Jeep Compass is built on the STLA Medium platform, optimized for electrified powertrains. The American cousin of the Peugeot 3008 and 5008, Opel Grandland, or Citroën C5 Aircross, this European Jeep logically emphasizes an adventurous approach to stand out. No big surprises under the hood, with a range including three powertrains: e-Hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and 100% electric. The electric version offers a maximum range of 650 km and is available with all-wheel drive.

A Real Jeep?

The design has been completely redesigned, incorporating signature elements such as the seven-slot grille and trapezoidal wheel arches. The Jeep Compass maintains a compact length of 4.55 meters while improving interior space, including an additional 55 mm of legroom in the rear and a 550-liter trunk. Colors inspired by natural landscapes, such as Hawaii green or Antarctica white, allow customers to personalize their vehicle.

In terms of technology, the vehicle offers a 16-inch touchscreen, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, and over-the-air software updates (OTA). Semi-autonomous driving at level 2 is standard, along with features such as a head-up display and LED matrix headlights. Additional equipment like the Selec-Terrain system ensures optimal performance both on-road and off-road.

The Jeep Compass also innovates with improved energy efficiency thanks to its aerodynamic architecture, which includes active shutters and a flat underbody design. Off-road capabilities remain at the core of the model’s identity, with a ground clearance of 200 mm and angles adapted for difficult terrains.

The First Edition version marks the launch of this new generation with top-of-the-line equipment. Available in e-Hybrid and 100% electric versions, it includes up to 20-inch wheels, a hands-free tailgate, a rearview camera, and heated seats. Prices start at €40,990 for the e-Hybrid version and €46,490 for the electric version, with deliveries scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025.
