New Dacia Sandero: engines, prices and features
Dacia expands the range of its best-sellers, the Sandero and Sandero Stepway, and boosts their engines and equipment.
When it arrived on the French market in 2008, the Dacia Sandero broke the mould: roomy, simple, robust and above all very affordable, it quickly became the best ally for motorists seeking a rational vehicle. Its second generation, launched in 2012, consolidated this success by refining its design and improving comfort. Then, in 2020, the third generation marked a real turning point: a modernized platform, enhanced technologies and a noticeable rise in quality.

In nearly two decades, the Sandero has established itself as an undisputed reference, regularly the No. 1 in private sales in France. The 2025 version builds on that strong history.
A refreshed popular Dacia
For 2025, Dacia brings a comprehensive update to its versatile city car. The Sandero adopts a new lighting signature, a redesigned grille and Starkle protective elements, reinforcing its robust character. It also debuts two new colors: Sandstone and metallic Amber Yellow, the latter also offered on the Stepway. Inside, materials have improved, the steering wheel is renewed, and the Eco-G 120 automatic gearbox receives an E-Shifter selector. A new 10-inch central screen, connected navigation and a wireless charging pad modernize the experience, while the 7-inch digital instrument cluster features a redesigned interface. Like all recent Dacias, the 2025 Sandero benefits from the YouClip system and the Dacia Zen warranty of up to 7 years.

The big mechanical news is the petrol TCe 100 engine, now 10 hp more powerful and rated at 5.3 l/100 km for 121 g of CO2. The base offering remains the SCe 65, still one of the best price/performance ratios on the market with a starting price of €13,290. The Stepway keeps its more versatile positioning with the TCe 110, offered from €17,650.
