Toyota FT-Se, the Dream Electric?

The Toyota FT-Se is a two-seater high-performance all-electric sports car concept for a carbon-neutral era.

Here is the result of the expertise gained by Toyota GAZOO Racing, the manufacturer’s racing division, on rally special stages, at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, or in the dunes of Dakar. The FT-Se concept presents a vision of how drivers’ relationship with their vehicles will evolve and deepen with passion and, above all, the joy of driving.

With a reduced height of 1,220 mm, the FT-Se recalls classic sports cars of the past, while its width of 1,895 mm gives it a confident stance, emphasized by a cutting-edge design that combines smooth curves and aggressive lines. Its sleek profile, 4,380 mm long, attracts attention with aerodynamic lines, unique trapezoidal shapes, and a spectacular rear wing.

Inside, the new-generation cockpit offers intuitive controls and a more immersive driving experience, with a low-positioned dashboard that optimizes the driver’s field of view. The new-designed side supports protect the driver and passenger from G-forces during driving, whether on the road or circuit, the FT-Se’s natural playground.

The progress made in electrification and intelligent technologies has enabled Toyota to build on the direction already indicated in 2021, when the first sports concept was unveiled as part of the company’s vision for 100% battery electric vehicles (BEVs). Improvements in driving stability and aerodynamic performance complement the dynamism and pure sensations offered by a next-generation high-performance 100% electric motorization.
