Toyota Unveils a Stylish High-Riding Electric Sedan

Toyota Presents the Sport Crossover Concept Teasing a 100% Battery Electric Model Scheduled for 2025.

Unveiled at Toyota’s Kenshiki Forum in Brussels, the Sport Crossover Concept features an elegant aerodynamic silhouette and original fastback lines, making it a design benchmark for the brand’s range of 100% battery electric vehicles.

The Sport Crossover Concept will serve as an attractive proposition for new electric vehicle customers and an elegant alternative to SUVs. It offers maximum comfort combined with the practicality of a five-door architecture, a large trunk, and generous rear legroom. All this benefits from a high ground clearance to tackle urban hazards and some off-road excursions.

The Sport Crossover Concept was first introduced at the Auto Shanghai Show in April 2023. It was developed for the Chinese and European markets by BYD Toyota EV Technology, a joint venture created in China by Toyota and BYD.

Thanks to its multi-technology strategy, Toyota envisions a future where carbon neutrality will be achieved through the introduction of a range of products equipped with advanced technologies in alternative fuels and zero-emission powertrains.

In Europe, Toyota plans to introduce six exclusively 100% battery electric models by 2026. A diversified range of electrified models will help propel Toyota Motor Europe towards its goal of offering exclusively zero-emission vehicles by 2035 and achieving full carbon neutrality by 2040.
