Toyota BZ4X, last chance to buy with the bonus (–24%)

Now excluded from the 2024 Ecological Bonus, the Toyota BZ4X is still available as a zero-kilometer used vehicle at a very competitive price.

Opportunity makes the thief. And the best ones are often the least in the spotlight. Excluded from the 2024 Ecological Bonus because of its distant place of production (its transport to France is considered polluting) in Japan, the Toyota BZ4X is nonetheless a good travel companion.

Certainly, it suffers in price and technology comparison with the Tesla Model Y, but its manufacturing reliability is far superior. The technical hassles of Tesla owners are widespread online, and that’s where the so-called “traditional” manufacturers continue to possess genuine expertise. Toyota’s legendary reliability is not overhyped.

For some buyers, it’s not a big deal if the American model has a slightly faster charging speed or more modern onboard connectivity. We’re not constantly staring at a giant screen…

As Toyota’s first 100% electric SUV, the BZ4X features a generous battery capacity of 71.4 kWh (compared to 60 kWh for the Tesla Model Y Propulsion), providing a WLTP range of 481 km. Inside, the equipment is very generous, and priced at 41,290 euros, the model found by Mobiwisy is quite interesting. The 11 kW onboard charger option is a real plus for relatively quick home charging (7 hours from 0 to 100%).

Finally, in this Pacific Blue color, the look is very elegant. At 41,290 euros, the Toyota BZ4X is indeed facing head-to-head with the new Renault Scenic Grande Autonomie (625 km) and 220 horsepower, sold at 41,990 euros before discounts, as well…
