Opel launches a particularly accessible long-term rental offer (LLD) for its electric SUV, the Frontera.

Since May 1st, the electric Opel Frontera is available starting at 149 euros per month with no down payment, a proposal aimed at lowering the entry barrier to electric vehicles for families.

The Frontera Electric is available in two battery versions to cover different usage profiles. The version equipped with a 44 kWh battery offers up to 300 km of WLTP range, while the 54 kWh version claims up to 400 km. Both powertrains share the same output of 113 hp.

Practically speaking, the vehicle offers real family space with five comfortable seats, generous rear knee space, and a competitive trunk volume in the compact SUV category. The Edition trim comes standard with a 10-inch touchscreen, navigation, a rearview camera, smartphone induction charging, and wireless compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Opel highlights the immediate availability of the model in its French network, subject to existing stock. This strategy is part of a market where financial accessibility remains one of the main barriers to switching to electric vehicles.

“With the Opel Frontera Electric, we are making a simple choice: to make electric vehicles truly accessible without compromising on usability. It’s a spacious, well-equipped family SUV, offered at an unprecedented price point for this segment,” explains Charles Peugeot, General Director of Opel France.

A LLD offer under conditions… of course!

The offer concerns a long-term rental for 36 months and 30,000 km for the entry-level Edition 113 hp with a 44 kWh battery. It is not the most attractive or interesting, to be honest. It includes a deduction of a Certinergy bonus of 6,100 euros, reserved for low-income households or those in situations of energy insecurity. The trade-in of the current vehicle is, of course, also taken into account. Nearly 10,000 euros off, but not for everyone…
