Unplugged Performance unveils a unique Tesla reflecting its owner Joe Rogan. Fully aggressive!

Joe Rogan, host of the famous podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, is a controversial and influential figure in the American media landscape. Known for his sharp positions on various topics, he maintains close ties with personalities such as Elon Musk, who has been a guest multiple times on his podcast, and Donald Trump, with whom he occasionally shares populist views. This proximity to Musk fueled his fascination with Tesla innovations, leading to a collaboration with Unplugged Performance (UP), a specialist in Tesla vehicle customization.

On January 23, 2025, Unplugged Performance delivered to Rogan a fully customized Tesla Model S Plaid S-APEX, blending aesthetics and extraordinary performance. This one-of-a-kind car reflects Rogan’s taste for machines that are both powerful and not necessarily refined.

The exterior of the S-APEX stands out with a wide kit made of 19 carbon fiber parts, widening the car by 80 mm. The ultra-light forged UP-03 wheels of 21 inches, fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, enhance its sporty look. The custom pearlescent white paint, subtly shaded with blue, green, and gold tones, is protected by an XPEL Stealth film for a durable matte finish.

A Fired-up but Vegan Tesla

Inside, UP designed an interior with vegan Banbū leather in an exclusive Alpine white, developed by von Holzhausen. The latest generation Plaid sport seats are heated and ventilated, combining comfort and support, ideal for daily driving or track use. To meet the demands of Texas terrains, the suspension was completely redesigned with forged aluminum arms, while ceramic-carbon brakes ensure exceptional stopping power.

Rogan was directly involved in the design, sharing his vision through multiple exchanges with UP. Already a Tesla enthusiast, he had discussed his project in conversations with Elon Musk on his podcast.
