Tesla Aims to Transform Charging into Global Fast Food
With its concept blending Superchargers and retro burgers, Tesla is already promising a global expansion of Diners.
Tesla has never been one to do things halfway. With the Tesla Diner, the American brand seems determined to reinvent… the charging break. In a terse message posted on X, Elon Musk confirmed what many suspected: “more diners coming.” Translation: burgers will be multiplying.
Located in Hollywood, this new generation Diner combines the codes of the American drive-in with a XXL charging station. On the agenda: 82 Supercharger stations, two giant screens for projecting movies, 24/7 service, and an unapologetically retro vibe. The result: a hybrid place, halfway between a futuristic gas station and a tourist attraction.

But Tesla doesn’t stop there. One of the most notable innovations directly concerns drivers: it is now possible to order your meal directly from the touchscreen of your car before even arriving. A logical integration into the Tesla ecosystem, turning waiting time into a customer experience.
As for expansion, Musk remains deliberately vague. However, potential locations are emerging: Palo Alto, the historical home of Tesla engineering, or the Texas Gigafactory could house the next establishments. A strategy aimed at implanting these diners at the heart of the brand’s hubs.
And the numbers support this ambition. In just three months at the beginning of 2026, nearly 10,000 milkshakes were sold. Even better, over 700 burgers are sold every day.
