Plume Allure: A High-End French Electric Scooter
This page is translated from the original post "Plume Allure : une trottinette électrique française haut de gamme" in French.

Before the April crowdfunding campaign, the Plume Allure electric scooter is displayed with a focus on the high-end market.
It won’t be available until May. But it already showcased its design at the Autonomy Paris Mobility Fair last week. The Plume Allure is a brand new electric scooter, originating from Saint-André-lez-Lille, with its crowdfunding campaign starting only on April 25th.
A very visible Plume Allure
It’s safe to say that the Allure is unconventional. Its double suspended fork provides a frame with extreme lighting at the front, which may be a bit shocking at first glance. But Plume justifies this, noting that one of the main issues with scooters is their negative perception by other road users.

In this regard, it is highly visible, with neon-style lighting at the front of Allure, along with a central headlight! At the rear too, the light is quite large, with a stop function in case of braking. Both lights also incorporate turn signals, activated via the handlebar.
Regarding the stance, the brand has also worked on the platform, reinforced to secure the battery. It is also V-shaped to accommodate different users, some prefer to place their feet at the front or back. The little extra? a convenient hook system for bags.
Two batteries up to 70 km
The Plume Allure also features the largest screen on the market, with a 3.5-inch diagonal. Not touchscreen, it syncs with a Bluetooth-connected mobile app, providing information on speed, distance, battery gauge, time, temperature, and even navigation.
Regarding batteries, two versions are available, according to Gouach, a Bordeaux-based company. The first is 454 Wh and offers 45 km per charge, while the second, with 702 Wh capacity, allows for 70 km. The rear motor is 500 W in both versions, with a burst capacity of 1,000 W. It provides 5 modes: 4 for normal riding and one mountain mode delivering high torque. It remains within the EPDM regulations, thus limited to 25 km/h.

Overall, the Plume Allure weighs 20 kg and can support a load of up to 120 kg on its two 10-inch wheels.
A Plume Allure with a limited environmental footprint
The added value of the Plume scooter is its ecological and local aspect. Made in France, it is also easily repairable, with batteries designed to last. Encased in a waterproof casing (IP65 standard), each cell can be replaced individually.

But at what cost? Preorders are already open at €879, or €1,119 for the large battery. These launch prices, with a 20% discount, are valid even after the campaign starts and until May 15, 2022.
After this date, the price of the Plume Allure will start at €1,099 and rise to €1,399 for the 70 km version. However, initial deliveries are only expected this summer.
