Opel Launches a New Long-Term Rental Program for Its Electric Range

Like Peugeot, Opel is launching a new long-term rental (LLD) plan for its electric vehicle lineup. This initiative is part of Stellantis’ “Electric As You Go” program, which will eventually include other models within the group.
The new plan is available for both the Corsa-e and the Mokka-e. It spans 36 months and covers 500 km per month. With Peugeot, the monthly mileage is the same but the contract duration is shorter (24 months).
With this new LLD, the Opel Corsa-e is available from €145 / month. The initial payment of €10,500 is reduced to €4,500 after deducting the ecological bonus of €6,000. It even drops to €2,000 for customers who can benefit from the conversion premium. The amount of the initial payment is roughly the same as what was set up for the Peugeot e-208. The following monthly payments are slightly lower (€145 vs. €150).
€40 more per month for the Opel Mokka-e
The Mokka-e’s offer works the same way but costs €40 more per month. For both models, it is possible to exceed the 500 km/month limit, but each additional kilometer is charged at 7 cents. Therefore, these LLDs won’t be very attractive for high-mileage drivers.
In terms of trim levels, Opel mandates the entry-level “Edition” for both models. The standard equipment includes automatic air conditioning, a 7-inch instrument cluster, 16-inch alloy wheels, and LED headlights. The 3.7 KW charging cable is also included by default.
The Corsa-e and Mokka-e are identical technically. Both vehicles feature a 136 hp electric motor and a 50 kWh battery. Regarding range, the Corsa-e is homologated at 362 km, while the Mokka-e reaches 342 km (WLTP cycle).
