Riese & Müller Nevo4: The Daily E-Bike… for Commutes and Rideouts?
This page is translated from the original post "Riese & Müller Nevo4 : le VTC du quotidien… et des sorties ?" in French.

Balancing optimal comfort, performance, and versatility, the Riese & Müller Nevo4 is designed as much for daily commuting as for all-terrain adventures.
The German brand continues to introduce new models, following its recently released urban UBN now available as UBN Six. Here, Riese & Müller presents a more upscale model, the Nevo4, built for long distances and versatility.
An electric bike focused on performance
Closely resembling the Charger4 touring bike in appearance, the Riese & Müller Nevo features an open-frame design. Its goal is to deliver an electric bike that offers optimal comfort. It includes a suspended saddle, Suntour XCR32 front suspension, and large balloon tires Schwalbe Big Ben Plus. Yes, the 28-inch wheels are not the most practical, nor is the bike’s weight of 25 to 26 kg.
Performance-oriented, the Nevo4 is equipped with the Bosch Performance Line CX motor offering 80 Nm of torque at the crank. The best on the market in terms of pedaling response, although it can be somewhat noisy. The removable Bosch battery, available as standard with 625 Wh or an optional 750 Wh (€201.90), comes with a 4 A charger. The transmission depends on the chosen model: a chain with Shimano Deore XT 11-speed derailleur, a continuous manual belt transmission Enviolo 380, or Enviolo AutomatiQ. Brakes are supplied by the Magura MT system.
Price of the Riese & Müller Nevo4
The Nevo4 offers seven different models, with varying equipment such as transmission, saddle, etc. The price starts at €4,689 and goes up to €6,259. The top-tier “GT Vario HS” is a speed bike, equipped with a Performance Line Speed motor, Enviolo 380, 750 Wh battery, all-terrain Moto X tires, Kiox 300 with RX chip for connected services, and Supernova lighting (instead of Busch & Müller). Its main competitor is the Specialized Turbo Vado. The bike comes in four sizes – 43/47/51/56 – and three colors: white, red, and black.

The base screen is the Bosch Intuvia, monochrome but intuitive. As an option, you can upgrade to the Kiox 300 with color display, smooth and connected, which we tested on the Charger4, priced at €100.90. Additional options include the front rack and a comfort kit (wide saddle, ergonomic grips, curved handlebar).
