Le Mans: Travel tickets available on SNCF Connect

SNCF announced today that tickets and subscriptions for the SETRAM network (Le Mans Métropole) are available via SNCF Connect.

SNCF Connect now includes tickets and subscriptions for the SETRAM transport network (Le Mans Métropole) in its app. Just a few days before the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the offer is timely. You can thus reserve your tram tickets across the twenty municipalities of Le Mans Métropole.

Thanks to the SNCF Connect app, in partnership with the French start-up airweb, any traveler wishing to get around using SETRAM transport can purchase a digital ticket. This will be available on most modern phones. So, you can book single tickets, transport booklets, passes… all through the app!

What is SETRAM?

The SETRAM urban transport network allows residents of twenty surrounding communes of Le Mans to travel. SETRAM notably includes the communes of Arnage and Mulsanne, located near the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit. The network has been operational since 1974, the year the Société d’Économie mixte des TRansports en commun de l’Agglomération Mancelle (SETRAM) was created.

Today, it features two tram lines, a “high-service level” bus line, 27 bus lines, electric or mechanical long-term rental bikes, and a carpooling service. Very practical for everyone traveling near the circuit for the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans!

With over 250,000 people attending the event annually, according to the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, this 100th edition in Le Mans will require even more frequent transport services. SETRAM is therefore offering enhanced schedules for the event on trams and buses.

During the event, SETRAM tickets are available at €1.50 for a one-way trip or €2.50 for a round-trip. You can order them via the SNCF Connect app or at usual points of sale.
