The prices of the Renault Trafic E-Tech

One year after the presentation of its new Trafic Van E-Tech electric, Renault unveils the first prices of a model that has been eagerly awaited.

A true bestseller that has won over more than 2.4 million professionals since 1980, the Renault Trafic Van is now offered in a 100% electric version, completing the lineup of Renault commercial vehicles alongside the new Renault Kangoo Van E-Tech electric and Master E-Tech electric.

Features of the Renault Trafic Van E-Tech electric:

• Two lengths (5.08 m and 5.48 m) and two heights (1.967 m and 2.498 m)
• Load volume (in van mode) ranging from 5.8 m³ to 8.9 m³
• Loading length up to 4.15 m (on the extended L2 version with the “long load” hatch located inside the partition)
• Towing capacity of 920 kg and a payload of 1.1 t
• Available in crew cab floor version
• Extreme modularity and almost infinite personalization thanks to a network of over 359 approved bodybuilders.
• Storage compartments with a total capacity of 88 liters (19.7 liters at the console, 14.6 liters in the doors, and 54 liters on the bench seat).

By folding down the middle seat, the backrest transforms into an office (equipped with a notepad storage) or a side table for a quick meal. This ingenious feature, invented by Renault, must be emphasized, has become an “essential” for professionals.

Thanks to the 52 kWh lithium-ion battery, the range is touted at 297 km in the WLTP cycle. It’s not much, but sufficient for daily trips with peace of mind, at the best operating cost, and without polluting city centers! The batteries are guaranteed for 8 years or 160,000 km. During this period, they are replaced free of charge if their capacity degrades below 70% of their nominal value. The 90 kW (122 hp) motor with 245 Nm of torque features an Eco mode that limits the vehicle’s power to ensure optimal range. There is also a “long range” version limited to 90 km/h, offering a range of 322 km.

Standard hydraulic braking is complemented by an ARBS (Adaptive Regenerative Brake System), which maximizes energy recovery.

The controls for the L2 versions (Van H1 & H2, crew cab, and double cab) will be available in October, with the first deliveries expected in November.

Prices:

• L2H1: starting at 36,200 euros
• L2H2: starting at 37,700 euros

The crew cab model is announced from 33,500 euros.

Six colors are offered: Glacier White (free color), Urban Grey (200 euros), Metallic Carmin Red (650 euros), Metallic Twilight Black (650 euros), Metallic Highland Grey (650 euros), and Metallic Comet Grey (650 euros).

Commands for the L1 versions (Van H1 and double cab) will soon open for initial deliveries in December.
