La Poste receives the four millionth Kangoo produced in Maubeuge

Long-time client of the brand with the diamond logo for over a century, La Poste received a well-milleim-ed Kangoo.

In 1997, the first Renault Kangoo rolled off the assembly lines at the Maubeuge factory, inaugurating the segment of compact vans with a unique design, practicality, and for the first time, a sliding side door.

Twenty-five years later, available in 50 countries worldwide, Renault Kangoo has sold over 4.4 million units, including 4 million produced in Maubeuge, at the heart of Ampere ElectriCity (Renault Kangoo is also produced in Argentina for the South American market for the past 25 years). It is also the best-selling vehicle in its segment in electric version with more than 100,000 units sold since 2011 across Europe.

The Maubeuge factory produces every member of the Kangoo family, in both thermal and 100% electric versions, with batteries assembled on site.

On Thursday, December 14, 2023, the keys to a Renault Kangoo E-Tech Electric were handed over to La Poste. This Renault Kangoo is the 4 millionth unit produced in Maubeuge since 1997. La Poste has been a longstanding Renault customer. For over a century, the postal company has used Renault commercial vehicles to deliver mail and parcels across France.

The iconic yellow color traditionally associated with Renault Kangoo for mail and parcel delivery has become especially famous among Japanese customers, where the vehicle has a particular popularity, and a limited edition “La Poste” version was even sold in 150 units in 2015.
