Ford combines sport and fun in its van

Ford Pro unveils a new exclusive sporty version of its Transit utility vehicle under the MS-RT brand.

This new model is the result of a design collaboration between Ford and MS-RT, a branch of M-Sport, a loyal partner of Ford’s WRC sporting program. This synergy has resulted in a vehicle with a joyful design, combining driving pleasure and exceptional cargo capacity.

The E-Transit Custom MS-RT is available with a 210 kW (285 hp) electric powertrain, making it the most powerful standard Transit Custom. The Ford Transit Custom MS-RT features an exterior style inspired by motorsport, with up to 6.8 m³ of load volume and a gross payload of 1,124 kg.

A Transit with a WRC Ford face

The exterior of the Transit Custom MS-RT is distinguished by an aerodynamic front bumper with an integrated splitter, sporty side skirts, a new rear quarter panel with a bumper featuring an integrated diffuser, and a rear spoiler with optimized aerodynamics. Electric versions add an LED light strip between the headlights.

Beneath the widened fenders, exclusive 19-inch anthracite alloy wheels are half an inch wider than those on the Transit Custom Sport, reducing unsprung weight by just over 1 kg per wheel. The track width increases by more than 50 mm. Goodyear Eagle Sport 235/45 R19 tires and the new Transit Custom platform with independent rear suspension further enhance grip, stability, and comfort.

Sporty even inside the cabin

The interior features all-new ergonomic front seats with lateral support, finished in eco-leather, with MS-RT logos and blue stitching. Van configurations are equipped with a driver’s seat and a double passenger seat, while the double cab offers two seats in front and three in the rear. A sporty steering wheel adorned with a blue marker at 12 o’clock, a small detail usually reserved for hypercars.
