The Rapide Core stands out with its minimalist aesthetic, featuring a white frame contrasted by a matte black fork, wheels, and battery. It is presented as “essential,” but it’s more of a streamlined version, because at a price of €2,240, it’s not certain that it will help make the Angell brand accessible to a new, less affluent customer base. However, it could appeal to young people aged 25 to 35 who are sensitive to urban culture and design, without worrying about the absence of fenders or a kickstand. To target this younger demographic, the Rapide Core will also be available via subscription in Paris starting at €99/month, thanks to the partnership with Motto, an expert in subscription electric bikes.
The Angell Rapide+
The Angell Rapide+ is available in two colors: Onyx Black and Sand Beige. The bikes are equipped with mudguards and a chain guard made in France, molded by plastic injection. It will be sold at a price of €2,740 and covered by the Angell Back insurance — stolen bike, replaced bike.
