A Mercedes PureSpeed Inspired by Formula 1
Strongly inspired by the Formula 1 universe, the Mercedes AMG PureSpeed concept previews the Mythos series.
The Mercedes AMG PureSpeed concept, a fully open two-seater car without a roof or windshield, is a tribute to motor racing. It provides a glimpse of the first model in the very limited Mercedes-Benz Mythos series, designed to bring together the most exclusive cars in the German manufacturer’s lineup. Its world premiere in the presence of Mercedes F1 drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell took place at the exclusive Monaco Grand Prix, where it is displayed on a floating pontoon in the principality’s harbor.

This PureSpeed celebrates Mercedes-Benz tradition with a racing car design without compromise, innovative materials, and modern technology. The strictly limited series of only 250 units will be available solely for the most dedicated Mercedes-Benz collectors… and certainly the wealthiest!
Play it like in F1!
One of the standout features is its HALO system, which replaces conventional windshield pillars. This element is a direct derivative of motorsport, as it has equipped all F1 cars since 2018 to protect the driver’s head in case of an accident. Like in F1, the system consists of a support connected to the vehicle’s bodywork. This aerodynamic component serves to protect occupants while providing a satisfactory field of view for two passengers.

No roof, no windshield, no side windows—this is a pure, hardcore sports concept that puts passengers in direct contact with the outside environment. Passengers will need to wear two aerodynamically optimized helmets, specially designed and manufactured for the Mercedes AMG PureSpeed concept, which are graciously included with the car.
