Cupra Tavascan Tarifs

The electric sporty Coupé SUV from CUPRA is now available for order in France, in two versions.

One doesn’t change an industrial model that has proven itself at CUPRA. The strategy of multiplying products from the same technical base provided by parent company Volkswagen has made the German group successful with its various brands spanning a wide price range, from SEAT to Audi, through Skoda, CUPRA, and Porsche.

So arrives in France the CUPRA Tavascan, inspired by the Volkswagen ID.5 GTX but with that generous touch of sportiness unique to the Spanish brand. In terms of dimensions, it’s a copy-paste as both models are built on the same MEB platform from the Volkswagen Group. But everything you can see, both outside and inside, is unique to the model.

At the front, the Matrix LED lights and the lighting signature formed by three triangles are immediately recognizable. The 21-inch forged alloy wheels alone add dynamism to the design. CUPRA has struggled to break free from the heavy oversight of SEAT, but the time for independence seems to have finally arrived.

Full horsepower pricing at CUPRA

Designed for customers seeking more performance than discretion, it is available in two versions, both equipped with a 77 kWh battery. The base version V already delivers 286hp (210 kW) while the more powerful VZ version offers 340hp (250 kW), with two electric motors and all-wheel drive. The adaptive DCC chassis, sport suspension, and progressive steering work together to tame this generous horsepower.

In terms of pricing, CUPRA seems to have made an effort on the V version to broaden its clientele, but a total surrender on the VZ! It is indeed offered starting at 46,990 euros for the V version, which remains reasonable, but the bill climbs to 64,930 euros for the VZ version. Knowing that the latter has a range of 522 km compared to 568 for the V, one really needs to want the horsepower… The same goes for the lease options of 37 months and 30,000 km without a down payment, with monthly payments of 599 euros for the Tavascan V and 899 euros for the VZ.
