Aura Aero has secured significant EU funding to develop its electric aircraft, the Integral-E

95 million euros. This is the amount secured by the company Aura Aero as part of the European “Innovation Fund” program. This program aims to bring to the market solutions for decarbonizing the European industry. The goal is to support the transition to climate neutrality while promoting competitiveness. Aura Aero has therefore been selected within the program alongside 84 other companies from 18 different countries.

This project is embodied by the Integral-E, a two-seat electric aircraft that currently has a flight range of one hour. The company plans to soon begin the testing phase of this aircraft to prepare for future projects. Aura Aero aims to produce electric aircraft in series before 2026 for use in regional flights. Another aircraft is also in development, the ERA. With 19 seats on board, this hybrid aircraft is also intended for regional transport. It is expected to be completed before 2028.

With the support of France

The Integral-E was presented at the Mondial de l’Auto from October 14 to 20. It was proudly displayed at Renault’s stand, right next to the Renault R4. A message of unity sent by both companies that aspire to be pioneers in the decarbonized mobility sector. Jeremy Caussade, co-founder of Aura Aero, appreciated the invitation: “We are very honored to have been chosen by Renault to be featured at their stand”.

The French government has also publicly supported the project. François Durovray, the delegated minister in charge of transport, visited Toulouse on October 24 to encourage the company. He toured the facilities and met with the engineers in charge of the project.
