Red Bull Racing Electric Scooter: A Scooter That Packs a Punch!

The RBS#01 eScooter is a new kind of scooter, benefiting from the technological expertise of the world champion Formula 1 manufacturer, Red Bull Racing.

If you’re a Formula 1 fan, you’re probably aware that Red Bull Racing outperformed its competitors during the 2022 season, with no less than 759 points in the standings, against 554 points for the second-placed Ferrari. Out of the 17 championship races, all 17 were won by Max Verstappen, the new world champion, and his teammate Sergio Perez. The car is powered by a hybrid V6 engine producing 914 horsepower, with a weight of only 795 kg.

A Price… Very Stylish!

Alongside this technological monster, you now have to reckon with a high-end scooter called RBS#01, entirely made of carbon fiber like Formula 1 cars, at a price of around €6,000!

As a fun fact, the RBS#01 scooter was developed by the same team of engineers who used many lightweight materials available to them to limit the weight of the beauty to just 23 kg. Better yet, using carbon fiber not only helps reduce weight but also offers superior resistance to torsion and falls.

A Fast RBS#01 eScooter

The electric motor of the RBS#01 eScooter produces no less than 750 watts and, most notably, a generous torque of 80 Nm. This allows it to reach a theoretical top speed of 45 km/h, which is obviously limiting to 25 km/h in France. Red Bull also announces an autonomy of about 60 km, thanks to its lithium-ion battery of 50.4 V 15 Ah/760 Wh.

Among the specific accessories for this model, you’ll notice the presence of single-piece aluminum alloy wheels fitted with 6-inch semi-slick tires. Braking is handled by high-performance hydraulic disc brakes with 4 pistons. You will also find a high-resolution LCD display and, of course, integrated lights. Finally, the maximum allowed weight capacity is 120 kg.
