Decathlon Further Lowers the Price of the Segway-Ninebot E2+

Past back-to-school offers, Decathlon decides to add another layer by reducing the Ninebot E2+ by an additional 50 euros.

The competition benefits the customer, and here is a new proof of that. Just a month after our previous article, it is surprising to see Decathlon continue to put pressure on the prices of its scooters. The demand has been very high in Paris since the ban on free-floating scooters.

Decathlon has thus lowered the price of the market’s “entry-level” model, the Segway-Ninebot E2+, by an additional 17%. Previously listed at 299 euros, a special promotion of 50 euros drops the price to 249 euros. An incredibly low amount for such a device.

We knew that the production cost of an electric scooter made in China was very low, but to such an extent once all the margins of intermediaries are applied…
