Public transportation fares in Île-de-France continue to rise

Starting January 1, 2025, the price of the Navigo pass will increase by 2.40 euros to reach 88.80 euros per month, but that’s not all.

Independent, the budget of Île-de-France Mobilités is not threatened by the lack of funding from the State for 2025. It was mainly signed in 2023 with the State and already protected in the 2024 finance law. Thanks to this, Île-de-France Mobilités limits fare increases to the rate of inflation, which is +1% for users. The local authorities are expected to contribute an additional +2%.

In addition to these general increases, a new system simplifies transportation tickets for occasional users with a single fare regardless of travel: 2.50 euros for trips on the rail network (metro/RER/Train/T11, T12, and T13) and 2 euros for bus and tramway lines. Additionally, the Liberté + service is introduced, accessible throughout Île-de-France, allowing post-payment with a 20% discount on the initial ticket price, and offering free transfers.

Below is the list of all new 2025 fares:

• Annual all-zone pass: 976.80 euros
• Monthly all-zone pass: 88.80 euros
• Weekly Navigo: 31.60 euros
• Senior Navigo: 532.80 euros
• Imagine R School and Student Navigo: 384.30 euros (excluding 8 euro registration fee)
• Junior Imagine R Navigo: 16.80 euros (excluding 8 euro registration fee)
• Magnetic boarding access and SMS fare: 2.50 euros
• Anti-pollution package: 4 euros
• Single T+ ticket: 2.50 euros
• Single Metro/Train/RER ticket at full fare: 2.50 euros
• Single Metro/Train/RER ticket at reduced fare: 1.25 euros
• Paris Region <-> Airports ticket at full fare: 13.00 euros
• Paris Region <-> Airports ticket at reduced fare: 6.50 euros
• Bus/Tram tickets at full fare: 2.00 euros
• Bus/Tram tickets at reduced fare: 1.00 euros

For Liberté + subscription, here are the fares, with a 20% discount from the first trip and free transfers between surface networks (bus and tram) and rail networks (metro/RER/trains):

• Bus/tram trip paid after the fact at full fare: 1.60 euros
• Bus/tram trip paid after the fact at reduced fare: 0.80 euros
• Metro/train/RER trip paid after the fact at full fare: 1.99 euros
• Metro/train/RER trip paid after the fact at reduced fare: 0.99 euros
• Airport trip paid after the fact at full fare: 13.00 euros
• Airport trip paid after the fact at reduced fare: 6.50 euros
