X Shore Bowrider: an affordable electric leisure boat

The Swedish brand X Shore continues its expansion with the launch of its new electric model, Bowrider

After the success of its Eelex 8000 model, X Shore aimed to make its electric boats more accessible by launching the X Shore 1. This approach continues today with the release of the X Shore 1 Bowrider. It is designed to offer an eco-friendly alternative to traditional boats.

Electric boats, although still expensive, are gradually becoming more widespread. Compared to the $300,000 price of the Eelex 8000, the Bowrider, offered at $139,000, remains a significant investment. However, it is becoming feasible for a broader clientele passionate about eco-friendly boating. This model is indeed much cheaper than its electric counterparts in the same category.

With a bow designed as a social space and silent motors, the Bowrider allows passengers to chat without raising their voices. Its 63 kWh battery provides a range of 50 nautical miles and a top speed of 30 knots. It is perfect for weekend getaways and water sports.

A modern and sustainable design

The X Shore 1 Bowrider also features an innovative design and high-quality construction. It incorporates materials such as fiberglass and carbon fiber, all assembled in Sweden. The boat is equipped with advanced marine technologies from Garmin. For example, it includes a 19-inch screen providing real-time navigation, depth, and temperature data. For connected owners, the X Shore app synchronized with Garmin watches allows remote control of the boat.
