The BMW CE 04 evolves, but its price does not

Launched in 2021, the BMW CE 04 quickly found its place in the landscape of urban electric mobility.

Leading its segment for electric scooters over 11 kW, BMW Motorrad’s two-wheeler is updated for 2026 with a series of minor evolutions. Without revolutionizing its formula, it gains in refinement, comfort, and customization, while maintaining its unchanged entry price, starting at €13,000, or €14,110 for the PRO version, which includes the City and Dynamic packs.

The CE 04 is now available in three finishes. The standard model features a solid Lightwhite color with a black and grey seat and a transparent windscreen. The Avantgarde style offers a matte Gravity blue metallic shade highlighted by Sao Paulo yellow touches, with a tinted windscreen and engraved rear rim. Finally, the Exclusive finish, more comfort-oriented, boasts a Spacesilver metallic color, an embroidered heated seat, a large windscreen with hand guards, and equipment dedicated to protection against the elements.

A well-equipped electric scooter

Technically, the BMW CE 04 retains the specifics that have made it successful. It is powered by a 31 kW (42 hp) electric motor, capable of reaching 120 km/h, while ensuring brisk acceleration, with 0 to 50 km/h in 2.6 seconds. The 8.9 kWh battery offers a maximum range of 130 km, or 100 km for the restricted version accessible with an A1 license. The charging time can drop to 1 hour and 40 minutes with the optional fast charger.

Among the standard equipment, there is a 10.25-inch color TFT screen with integrated navigation, three riding modes (ECO, Rain, Road), a braking system with ABS, and a transmission designed to provide a good balance between energy recovery and riding comfort. Options like the Dynamic mode, DTC, heated grips, and intelligent emergency call further enhance the offerings.

Manufactured in Berlin, the BMW CE 04 remains true to BMW Motorrad’s approach: a bold design, a solid technical foundation, and high-level equipment. Without altering its technical specifications, this 2026 update consolidates its position in the market, reinforcing the appeal of the premium electric scooter in urban environments.
