BMW Unleashes the CE 02 Deus Ex Machina

If this is indeed a CE 02, it is appropriate to call this electric scooter the BMW DE 02, which plays DJ on two wheels.

BMW Motorrad France and Deus Ex Machina have come together to create a machine as bold as it is stylish: the BMW DE 02. Based on the CE 02, this 100% electric two-wheeler, already well-known for its futuristic look and urban maneuverability, has been completely revamped in the Deus style.

If you are not familiar with Deus Ex Machina, which was born in Sydney in 2005, this brand is a true ode to motorcycle culture, cool lifestyle, and custom spirit. Motorcycles, clothing, music, art… at Deus, everything blends in a creative and laid-back atmosphere. From Bali to Milan and Bordeaux, their famous “Temples” have become meeting places for riders and artists.

No need for a power outlet for the sound system!

In this collaboration, the CE 02 transforms into a “eParkourer” version DJ booth. Gone is the surf rack, replaced by an onboard sound system featuring no fewer than four Marshall Middleton speakers and a real turntable at the center! Yes, you read that right: you can literally mix while riding (or almost). It’s the perfect mix of urban mobility and musical vibes.

And it’s not just an aesthetic whim. The DE 02 also features a leather seat embroidered with “Deus Records,” revamped LED lights, shortened turn signals, streamlined mirrors, and a custom license plate holder. A true rolling jewel with a sleek design and nomadic spirit.

After being unveiled at an event at Deus Ex Machina Bordeaux, the DE 02 is now embarking on a tour across France. It will be showcased at several BMW Motorrad dealerships as well as in Deus stores. If you spot a scooter dancing on the asphalt, don’t be surprised: it’s probably it.
